Flaccid Femmes: Humble Humor
3rd Saturdays: 7-9 pm
Some fantastic femmes came together to create this unique open mic experience, where only femme and femme-identifying folks are asked to sign up for the open mic. This was in response to the male dominated comedy scene as an effort to increase the likelihood of femme performers, and boy-oh has it ever worked. This open mic sees first time comediennes each month, as well as some of KC’s best working femme comics, and creates an atmosphere more like a featured show than an open mic. All are welcome to attend, and femmes are welcome to perform, amateur and professional both! no cover!
Triple Threat Night
3rd Saturdays: 10 pm - 1 am (starts up again in January 2019)

Keller connects these three communities of creatives in the belief that all types of artists should enjoy each other’s work and when they all come together, magic happens! This is another reason why Keller never charges a cover!

Community Writing Workshop with Sheri “Purpose” Hall
4th Wednesdays: 7-9 pm
“COME ONE COME ALL!!!! We will write 'til our hearts are content! Or maybe we will just write until our content accurately describes our hearts! I have created this workshop as an ongoing event because we have many open mics and slams, but rarely is there a space for the community to collaboratively work on the art that goes into these shows. This will be a dual workshop focusing on both the literary craft and the art of the performance.” —Sheri Hall
